–What is the theme of your exhibition?
The Unseen Spectrum
“The Unseen Spectrum” is a celebration, one in which the viewer is invited to triumph over perceived limitations. It’s a testament to the idea that our most profound challenges can lead to our most beautiful experiences.
–How would you describe your artwork that you will display at Winter Festival?
Using acrylics and subtle mixed media, Leung’s work is a masterclass in contrasts; light and shadow amplify raw emotion, while rich brushstrokes draw you into the depths of self-doubt and the meeting of darkness and hope. Leung’s unique form of color blindness, which might seem like a barrier, has instead become a source of creative power, opening up an entirely new spectrum of hues and compositions that challenge conventional perception.
–What inspired you to create these paintings?
Some precious memories deserve to be preserved. celebrate the present and keep its beauty frozen in time, creating timeless keepsakes you’ll treasure forever.
–Is there a connection between your music and your art?
Both of my music and visual art spring from the same mind, they diverge in their emotional landscapes, offering a rich and varied experience. musical compositions often delve into emotionally darker themes, crafted to resonate with listeners in an accessible way. In contrast, the visual art on display offers a distinct and powerful exploration of emotion, presented with a raw honesty that challenges and engages.
–What do you want people to feel when they see your work?
Experience Art Anew: Feel, Think, and Be Inspired
–When did you start painting?
From spontaneous textbook doodles to masterful paintings, my artistic journey began in childhood and evolved into a dedicated practice around 2001. This lifelong passion for creation now culminates in unique artworks, each piece a continuation of a journey rooted in imagination and expressed through a vibrant history of drawing and painting.
