San Po Konger
San Po Konger is a rotational band consisting of different players every time. They usually show up in the midst of a crisis. This time the band consists of Hong Kong’s blues veterans Henry Chung (harmonica), Vincent Lam (guitar), and Ram Cheung (guitar). These three individuals met via the legendary Mr. Tommy Chung almost 18 years ago. Their show at the Underground HK will mark their reunion and friendship. Together, they will perform original vicious blues that will clearly knock your socks off. Be prepared to jump, jive, wail, shake, rattle and roll without a seat belt on.
Kevin Guffy
Kevin Guffy is a dynamic guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter whose musical journey began at age 12. A self-taught artist, he honed his craft in Portland, Oregon, performing with notable musicians like bassist Ben Wolfe and touring with The Inkspots. Since relocating to Hong Kong in 2006, Kevin has captivated audiences at prestigious venues, including JJ’s at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. His versatile style blends blues and jazz influences, shaped by legendary figures like Jim Pepper. With a rich history of songwriting and performing across Europe and the Mediterranean, Kevin now calls Hong Kong home, where he continues to write, teach, and share his passion for original blues music. For this special event, Kevin will be joined by the formidable Chiin-Zhe on bass and Portuguese drumming legend Carlos Veira on drums.
