We’re looking for a guitarist to join our power metal band, Tales of Grim. Our current rhythm guitarist is leaving due to a busy schedule.
What we’re looking for:
– Someone who enjoys power metal / symphonic metal
– We play covers from bands like Nightwish, Epica, Battle Beast, Beast in Black, and Brothers of Metal
– Willing to learn and play our original songs (we’re focusing more on originals now, so it’s important you’re genuinely interested)
– Able to commit to regular practice and come prepared — we value everyone’s time and want to keep things efficient
– Able to read tabs and use Guitar Pro for learning and sharing parts
– Solid rhythm playing: able to play heavy riffs cleanly with tight palm-muting and good tone
– Comfortable playing solos and basic arpeggios when required

– Started with covers and now moving toward our own music
– Current lineup: vocalist, bass, keyboard, and two guitarists
– We already have a setlist, mostly original songs
