22 years of Underground shows, and we still love asking the same question: ‘Who did you come to see tonight?’ Five minutes of cheering and Hong Kong band love—from the people in front of the stage.

Calling Hong Kong bands! 🎸🎨

The Underground is proud to support EchoArt Battle of the Bands 2026, a unique art x music competition from Musicians Foundation.

Rather than simply choosing a song, participating bands create an original track or perform a cover inspired by a winning piece of visual art. It’s a chance to bring your own sound, interpretation and live energy to a genuinely creative challenge.

There are Student and Adult divisions, with prizes including performance opportunities, Tom Lee Music vouchers and rehearsal studio time.

Band registration closes 28 August 2026.
Finalists will be announced on 30 August, with the live final taking place on 6 September.

參賽樂隊唔係淨係揀首歌去唱，而係要以一幅得獎視覺藝術作品為靈感，創作原創歌曲或者重新演繹一首 cover 歌曲。係將自己嘅音樂風格、詮釋同現場能量帶到一個真正有創意挑戰嘅好機會！

比賽設有學生組同成人組，獎品包括演出機會、Tom Lee Music 禮券同排練室時段。

樂隊報名截止：2026 年 8 月 28 日
入圍樂隊將於 8 月 30 日公布，現場決賽將於 9 月 6 日舉行。
