Erik Piece
Erik Piece is an independent singer‑songwriter and multi‑instrumentalist based in Hong Kong, known for his gentle, introspective indie rock and long‑standing commitment to the city’s DIY music scene. Since the early 2000s, he has been an active presence in Hong Kong indie, first emerging in 2003 and later fronting the band Innisfallen before debuting as a solo artist at Underground Hong Kong’s live showcases. A self‑described “full‑time linguist, part‑time melody maker, lazy runner,” he writes and performs on guitar, ukulele, banjo, bass, keyboards and percussion, blending storytelling lyrics with warm, melodic arrangements.
Say Mosquito
Punk and prog dance a merry two-step for Say Mosquito … HTF was this twisted bastard of a power trio born? Well, somewhere deep in the sweaty underbelly of Hong Kong, singer-guitarist Steve and classically-trained pianist Maggie-turned-bassist found each other and did what any self-respecting musical misfits would do – they conjured up a frenetic, offbeat, unholy partnership. The picture was completed with the saloon door-kickin’ arrival of veteran sticksman Ah Wah – originally hired for a one-off session, he dug the vibe and stuck around for the long, slow ride ahead.
Debut EP, Oh No!, bottled the trio’s early sound – a constipated hotpot of psychobilly and psychobabble, imagery and irreverence – before they hit the road on a Greater China tour and warmed up for visiting US middleweights including The Mystery Lights and Daikaiju.
In 2024, Say Mosquito finally broke their hermit-like audio impasse with Spun Out – a brawnier, brainier EP tackling light-hearted subjects from science-fearing evangelists and satellite-induced insomnia to bedroom night terrors and a cold, contemporary society that prioritises profit over people. Quite the party band indeed.

Andy is typing…係2016年成立嘅香港獨立搖滾樂團，以強烈旋律感、層次結他同後搖氛圍見稱。音樂融合Indie/Alt-Rock，聚焦城市情感、成長與自我對話。成員包括：主唱兼結他J.K.Y.、結他萬平、貝斯Andy、鼓手Kelvin。作品以細膩編曲承托真摯歌詞，營造電影感場景。曾獲2024新城勁爆樂隊／組合銅獎。樂團持續於現場演出與錄音之間探索更多聲音可能。
Formed in 2016, Andy is typing… is a Hong Kong indie rock band known for its strong melodic sensibilities, layered guitar arrangements, and post-rock atmosphere. Fusing indie and alternative rock, their music focuses on urban emotions, personal growth, and inner dialogue.
The band consists of J.K.Y. (lead vocals and guitar), Man Ping (guitar), Andy (bass), and Kelvin (drums). Their work features delicate musical arrangements that support their sincere lyrics, creating a highly cinematic soundscape.
They were awarded the Bronze Award for Best Band/Group at the 2024 Metro Radio Hits Music Awards. The band continues to explore new sonic possibilities through both their live performances and studio recordings.
